Update your HVAC! I was there once when it was 90+ outside and I felt like I was going to faint bc of how HOT it was inside the building. Def not safe to workout here when it’s hot outside. If anyone has recommendations on different gyms with good HVAC systems and aren’t small please lmk!

Used to be a nice gym before all the other gyms in the area closed and they had a small monopoly as the only full gym in the area. Place is always packed now. Equipment is old and poorly maintained. Trainers are friendly, but always taking up all the equipment for their clients. All the gym rats stay here for hours and spend more time sitting on equipment talking to each other or texting on their phones rather than actually working out. Can’t wait for the 2+ other gyms opening up in the area soon and LVAC has to start stepping up its game again to compete.

Every summer, it’s the exact same story: the AC can’t handle the heat, and working out here becomes genuinely miserable. LVAC already struggles with overcrowding — good luck finding open equipment during rush hour — but add a gym that can’t stay cool in 85+ degree weather and it’s borderline unsafe to work out in. I keep coming back only because it’s five minutes from my house. Otherwise I’d have left years ago. Every summer, staff says they’re “working on it” or “fixing” the AC, but at this point it’s obvious the system is structurally inadequate, not just in need of a repair. This isn’t a one-off breakdown — it’s a predictable, recurring failure that management has known about for years and hasn’t actually solved. On top of that, the fire alarm goes off every once in a while, again this week, which says a lot about how well-maintained the equipment and building systems actually are. I pay for a membership expecting a functional gym, not a sauna with lifting equipment. Fix the AC permanently or start being honest with members that this is a known, unresolved issue.

The gym would be great, but they overcharge for the amount of equipment... literally only 8 benches in the whole building (4 bench press, 4 free benches), all taken always, and there's 3 empty classroom... Either needs to reduce membership rate or increase equipment to be considered a great gym. Bathrooms are nice.

Went to this gym for almost 3 years and when I was ready to freeze my account for a few months, they charged me anyway, and I had to go thru many email chains only to not get a refund. Then when I was ready to cancel, they told me I had to cancel thru the app. I went to do it that way, but the app said my cancellation was already in progress. Then I was charged AGAIN and it not cancelled. So again, many email chains later, they got the cancellation to go thru this time (fingers crossed) but would not issue a refund. So I may as well leave an honest review of the facilities. Very little machine variety, always packed, too much cardio space, and terrible operating hours. Oh and a rock climbing wall that hasn’t beeen accessible in years. Many better gyms in the area that are worth the money
